I am honored to introduce myself as the founder of Scarlett Wellness. As a licensed counsellor, I provide a holistic approach to counselling and animal therapy services through an integrated theoretical orientation, viewing each individual through a trauma-informed lens.. I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Political Science and a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychotherapy, both from the University of Northern BC. My theoretical framework is underscored by a profound understanding of trauma and its effects on mental health, guiding individuals towards resilience and recovery. I offer services tailored for Public Safety Personnel. Prior to embarking on my journey in counselling, I served as a dedicated law enforcement officer with the RCMP for 15 years, where I encountered firsthand the multifaceted challenges individuals face in times of crisis. Additionally, my prior military service instilled in me a profound sense of duty and resilience, which I bring to my practice each day. My diverse background equips me with a unique perspective and skill set to address the complex needs of my clients.
