PSP Connect
Calling all frontline public safety personnel (PSP)!
You’re invited to join PSP Connect, CIPSRT’s virtual community of practice for PSP across Canada. PSP Connect is a chance for you to network with peers in the public safety sector from coast-to-coast, and to learn about the mental health initiatives coming from CIPSRT (and beyond)!
We know that when mental health issues arise, frontline workers are often the ones who listen and provide support. This is why we need your help – frontline PSP have the power to reach their peers. CIPSRT wants to collaborate with those on the frontline so we can ensure we are meeting our mission of supporting the mental health and wellbeing of frontline PSP and their families.
PSP Connect meets quarterly over Microsoft Teams. To attend the next PSP Connect meeting, please fill out the form below!
What is PSP Connect?
A community of practice with quarterly, virtual meetings geared towards frontline personnel. PSP Connect is the place where CIPSRT and PSP can discuss the issues most important to PSP regarding their mental health and wellbeing. PSP Connect is flexible, so if you can’t attend a meeting, we encourage you to sign up, anyway — you can always make the next one. We can’t wait to see you there!
Why join PSP Connect?
Network with peers in the public safety sector, and connect with CIPSRT in a small, personal, and welcoming environment. These PSP-driven meetings allow you to weigh in on CIPSRT’s tools and resources, to identify gaps and provide feedback, and to suggest topics of webinars and other opportunities for learning on a local and national level. There are also often presentations on topics of interest as indicated by PSP Connect members.
