Our Team
Dr. Manon Mousseau is a registered psychologist through the Psychological Order of Quebec since 2011 and she holds a Ph.D. in psychology from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM) since 2018. She has studied vulnerable children and their mothers with large data sets, such as the National Longitudinal Study of Children and Youth as well as the Quebec Longitudinal Study of Child Development. Since 2011, Dr. Mousseau has also worked in various clinical and medical settings. She has extensive experience in health psychology with patients with trauma and complex medical issues.
Dr. Mousseau has been a lecturer in the Department of Education at the UQAM from 2007 to 2017. In 2013, she was part of an innovative program offered to First Nations childcare workers. This program aimed to improve their skills to better respond to children’s special needs. She is also working as a clinician with communities of Inuits and First Nations in the North of Quebec. In 2016, as she was working with remote communities, she developed her interest in offering accessible psychology services to those who need it. More recently, she is a clinical research associate at the University of Regina where she collaborates as an e-therapist offering cognitive behaviour therapy programs for public safety personnel.
