Dr. Amber Fletcher’s research examines how gender and social inequality shape the lived experience of crises, with particular focus on climate hazards (flooding, drought, and wildfire) in the Canadian Prairie region. As a gender sociologist with expertise in qualitative research methods, she frequently contributes a gender and methodological lens to a range of projects, including research with public safety personnel.
