A conversation about diversity and inclusion in PSP sectors
If you missed this important online discussion, you can still watch the recording of December’s presentation of Breaking the code: Navigating gender, sexuality, and ethnocultural identities in public safety occupations.
This discussion explored the unique challenges faced by underrepresented groups within PSP sectors and discussed ways to foster diversity and inclusion within public safety.
An interactive series on fatigue and burnout
The first of a two-part interactive series on fatigue and burnout among PSP launched in February. We encourage you to watch and share Running on empty: Managing fatigue and burnout among first responders and other public safety personnel. You will learn about the impacts of fatigue and burnout on physical and mental health and the ways workplace policies and practices can help manage fatigue-related risks among PSP.
Please join us for part two in this special series, Running on Empty: Answering your questions on fatigue and burnout among first responders and other public safety personnel. In this session, a panel of experts will answer your questions about fatigue, stress, sleep, and burnout. You will hear practical advice and learn strategies to support your mental health and well-being.
